Our gents 1st team played their first match of the 2008 league campaign away to Uddingston.
East Kilbride won the match 7-4 which was a great result and an excellent start to the season.
Des Boyd and Stephen McGhie (on his come back match) picked up a set at first couple.
Stevie Mitchell and Peter Stewart picked up 2 sets, winning their second set 15-13 on a tie breaker.
Colin Magee and Alastair Flaherty won 2 sets, winning the last set on a tie breaker as well.
Next league match is at home to Busby on Friday 2nd May.
