The club championships got underway this week.
Unfortunately, so did the “monsoon like” weather with all four courts being flooded on Tuesday 19th August evening.
Some matches have been played however despite the wet weather.
Summary so far:
Gents Doubles
Wednesday
Brian and Sean ran out 2-1 winners against Colin and Michael.
Thursday
Des and Duncan ran out 2-1 winners against Alastair and Fergal
Singles
Colin , Alastair and Duncan went through to the next round.
Mixed Doubles
Saturday
Stevie and Lee won in straight sets against Colin and Mandy.
