Gents 1st team narrowly lost 5-4 to Fort Matilda on Friday 5th September.
The match was played in horrible wet and windy conditions and went down to the wire with Alastair and Colin loosing the last set 7-5.

Our club championship finals day were held on Saturday 6th September.
Many thanks to Lesley Bradshaw, Colin and Liz Cloney for all their help during the day.
Results on the day were as follows:
Boys singles
Duncan Forbes won in straight sets against his brother Stuart.
Ladies singles
Jen Hutchison played Gillian Cloney for the second year in a row.
Jen won the first set 6-0, however Gillian battled her way back into the match winning both the second and third set to win the match.
Gents singles
Des Boyd played Stevie Mitchell for the first time in the final.
In a close match, Des ran out the winner with a 6-4,6-4 straight sets win to pick up the trophy for the fifteenth time.
Mixed Doubles
Jen and Richard won the mixed trophy in a good spirited match with a win against Gillian and Andy.
Ladies Doubles
Frances and Lee defeated Connie and Caroline in the ladies doubles final.
Both Lee and Caroline were playing in the club championships for the first time.
Gents Doubles
Stevie and Andy met Des and Duncan in the gents doubles final.
With only a few games played in this match, Des picked up a nasty calf injury which resulted in Des and Duncan having to conceed the match.
