The anniversary day was well attended both by former members and current members.
Despite the showery weather in the afternoon, some fun tennis was had by both adults and juniors alike.
During the afternoon our president Jane Lees unveilled a slate plaque which listed the 25 names of the members who pledged £1,000 each to underwrite the £25,000 loan needed to fund our new courts back in 1999.
In the evening,the tennis was followed by drinks and a buffet in the main lounge of the sports club to celebrate this special occasion.
